PHOTOS: 11 DeKalb shelter dogs you can adopt for half price

The DeKalb County animal shelter is running a special that could leave you with new friend.

Through October, dogs over 25 pounds can be adopted for half price, which comes to $42. All cats are also half price, which comes to $32.

The fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, a microchip and heartworm test, according to the shelter's website. The site also has more information and photos of other pets up for adoption.

But below is a sampling of the cuteness available under the special, as of Monday morning.

The shelter is located at 845 Camp Road, Decatur, and is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
