Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man sought in the Thursday morning robbery of a bank in Social Circle.

The Pinnacle Bank in Social Circle was robbed at 9:45 a.m. by a man believed to be in his 20s. He is about 6 feet tall and has a slender build.

The GBI, in a press release, said the suspect handed a teller a note indicating he had gun and demanded cash. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

A $5,000 reward is offered for information which leads to an arrest and conviction.

Social Circle is located about 45 miles east of Atlanta in south Walton County.
