Phillip Dunn on trial for wife's murder at Walmart

Phillip Dunn testified that he did not remember stabbing Shelly Dunn to death in front of their two young daughters.

Dunn's defense attorney, Wystan Getz, has asked the jury to find him guilty of the lesser offense of voluntary manslaughter, saying the crime was committed in the heat of passion.

Dunn told jurors that his wife confessed she had begun having feelings for another man in late 2009, but she wanted to stay with him and repair their marriage. He admitted that he attacked his wife in their home two weeks before the slaying after she reiterated her infatuation with the co-worker.

"You don't remember taking this knife at a minimum of three times, probably more, and swinging it and stabbing her ...?" asks Assistant District Attorney Christa Kirk.

Dunn is asked about his temper and where he put the knife.
