Person shot at DeKalb mall during attempted carjacking

One person was shot in a DeKalb mall parking lot during an attempted carjacking Friday night, police said.
The incident happened at the Gallery at South DeKalb mall on Candler Road.
The person was shot in the neck, and police are looking for the perpetrator, Channel 2 Action News reported.
The victim’s name and condition were not released.
No other injuries were reported.
