Police announced the arrest Wednesday of a man suspected of offering a child money for sexual favors at Perimeter Mall.

Ronald Cox, 42, of Lithonia was arrested on charges of child molestation by solicit, said Dunwoody police in a press release.

Police believe Cox approached a 15-year-old boy in a Perimeter Mall bathroom Nov. 12 at about 7 p.m. and offered him a “wad of cash” for sex.

The teen, who was not physically harmed, fled the bathroom and told mall security.
