Pedestrian struck and killed trying to cross Fulton Industrial...

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed early Friday on a busy south Fulton County roadway.

The accident happened about 3:45 a.m. in front of the Majestic Lodge on Fulton Industrial Boulevard, just north of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Investigators on the scene told the AJC that the adult male, whose name has not been released, was trying to cross Fulton Industrial when he was hit by a southbound Pontiac Grand Prix.

The man died at the scene.

The Grand Prix driver stopped, and will not be charged, police said.
