The pedestrian who died Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle in northwest Atlanta has been identified as Russell Harbor, 45, of Atlanta.
The Atlanta Police Department responded to the accident at Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and Chappell Road at approximately 2:40 p.m.
Harbor was transported to Atlanta Medical Center in grave condition and later died, police said.
The APD investigation showed that Harbor was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Donald Lee Hollowell after stepping out into the roadway.
The accident is being investigated. No charges have been filed against the driver.
