The Peachtree Corners City Council voted recently to approve screen-printed material as facing for the Town Center parking deck on the botanical garden side of the structure.

At its July meeting, the city’s planning commission reviewed the Town Center building elevations. They unanimously recommended approval of all the elevations, but were hesitant about the screen-printed material options. Of three design patterns evaluated for the screening, the planning commission preferred option #2, which looks like a natural forest. The city’s arts council was invited to review the designs and make further recommendations.

They also agreed option #2 will create a more realistic appearance and should blend in best with its botanical garden surroundings.
