In an effort to help school-age children reduce screen time and keep their creative juices flowing, Peachtree Corners is launching an art project called “Color Our Heroes” to help recognize the men and women who are keeping the community safe during the pandemic.

Each week, for the next four weeks, a new coloring sheet will be available on the city’s website to download. The first week depicts doctors and nurses, the second, garbage collectors, the third EMS personnel and the fourth week will feature teachers.

The city is asking everyone to show off their artwork by posting it to their front doors or windows at home. Completed artwork posted to social media can use the hashtags, #colorourheros, #peachtreecornersga or #peachtreecorners.

Each week a winner will be selected from a random drawing and will receive a gift card from a local business.
