The Peachtree Corners city council approved $300,000 Tuesday to launch a business incubator. The city will work in partnership with Georgia Tech’s Advanced Technology Development Center to launch the incubator.

Georgia Tech’s ATDC program specifically works to launch and build technology companies in Georgia. The program was ranked one of the world’s top technology incubators and named a Top 12 Incubator Changing the World by Forbes in 2013.

Peachtree Corners’ $300,000 budget will cover the program through the end of June 2016 and includes salaries for two individuals, cost of rental space, marketing and other considerations.
