Peachtree Corners incorporation clears another hurdle

A bill that could lead to the creation of Gwinnett County's 16th city passed the state Senate Thursday.

If Gov. Nathan Deal signs House Bill 396, residents of Peachtree Corners near Norcross will vote on whether to incorporate in November. The proposed city near Norcross has more than 30,000 residents.
