The Peachtree Corners city council on Jan. 20 passed an amendment to city code changing the due date for businesses to provide their gross receipts. Previously, city code mandated businesses file a final return on their gross receipts no later than Feb. 15. The new code changes that due date to March 31.

In other code revisions, the city amended the alcoholic beverage ordinance to establish a due date of Dec. 15 for businesses to renew their beverage license. The change also establishes fines for late renewals. Renewal applications and payments received between Dec. 16 and Dec. 31 are subject to a ten percent late fee. Any business failing to apply for renewal of their license prior to by Dec. 31 must reapply for a license.
