Peachtree Corners will dedicate the city’s new Veterans Monument and unveil the military sculptures at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15 on the Town Green at the city’s new Town Center.

The 2,500-square-foot monument plaza has been designed to be a serene and dignified place where individuals may come and reflect, and where veterans, schools and civic organizations may hold ceremonies and educational opportunities.

The monument features a central pillar with an eagle atop a globe representing the presence of the U.S. Armed Forces around the world, and six sculptures representing each of the Armed Forces and Federal Military Reserve.

The Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument Association is continuing to accept donations for engraved pavers and wall caps: www.ptcvets.networkforgood.com.
