The Peachtree Corners City Council recently held the first of two public hearings for a request to allow a zoning change for an adult day care center on a portion of a 7.15-acre lot at 6991 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. The property is currently zoned for office-industrial businesses.
The King David Adult Day Care asks to create the center in an existing space within the 600 building on the property and would serve a maximum of 60 guests. There would be no overnight accommodations provided with this zoning approval. The second public hearing on the request will be held during the next city council meeting at 7 p.m. Jan. 17 at City Hall, 147 Technology Parkway.
