The Peachtree Corners City Council recently approved $136,000 for a consultant’s help in preparing an Innovation Master Plan for the city. Of the three most qualified candidates, the city chose to contract with MXD Development Strategists for the project.

The project will utilize transportation and land use information gathered from the Livable Centers Initiative and additional data and community input to “re-image, re-invigorate and re-brand” Technology Park into an Innovation Hub. The three-phase plan development is expected to take about six months to complete. MXD has developed similar plans in Atlanta near the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, Memphis, Charlotte and San Francisco.
