Following a second read and public hearing, the Peachtree Corners City Council voted to amend zoning to allow mobile restaurants within Technology Park in the Central Business District.

A mobile restaurant, or food truck, is defined as a commercial kitchen within a licensed and operable commercial motor vehicle that operates temporarily for the preparation and sale of food and/or beverages for consumption either on or off the premises, but not within the vehicle.

The approved zoning change will allow mobile restaurants in areas zoned for light industrial use within Technology Park. No property will be allowed to have more than three mobile restaurants at any one time, and the food trucks must be easily moved and not affixed to the ground.
