After comparing its fees for fire and emergency services with those of neighboring jurisdictions, the Peachtree City Fire Department is revising its fee structure.

The City Council unanimously approved the changes recently, but they won’t take effect until Oct. 1:

  • Ambulance service for Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support Level 1 will increase by $200
  • Advanced Life Support 2 transport will cost $225 more.
  • The current $200 charge for helicopter assistance will be elminated.
  • Several fire services related to sprinklers, alarms and water pressure tests have new charges of either $25 or $50
  • The cost for a basic compliance certificate will be $50 lower.
