Two Fayette County-based nonprofit organizations will get renewed funding grants from Peachtree City for FY2021, following unanimous approval from the City Council on Thursday.

Fayette Senior Services, which provides meals, non-emergency transportation and other personal services not offered by the county, will receive $15,000. FSS operates the Life Enrichment Center in Fayetteville and partners with Peachtree City’s Gathering Place. The second grantee, Promise Place, provides more than 2,200 individuals per year in four counties with emergency shelter, legal advocacy and other services related to domestic violence, will receive $10,000 from the city. Promise Place also conducts a teen dating violence prevention program for middle and high school students.

Both organizations submitted financial records detailing their annual operating budgets as part of the funding request.
