Peachtree City’s main recycling center will be closed March 8 so an on-site contractor can grind yard debris and tree limbs. The recycling center next to the Public Works building on McIntosh Trail will be open as usual all week for paper, plastic, newspapers, glass, aluminum and cardboard recycling, but does not accept yard waste.

The Rockaway Road location will re-open at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. For details about hours and what is accepted at each location, go to www.peachtree-city.org/recycle.
