Peachtree City recycling center accepts extra items for cleanup

Peachtree City’s main recycling center will accept additional items this weekend for the city’s annual Spring Cleanup, and with extended hours. The center on Rockaway Road just off Ga. Hwy. 74 South will be open 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Peachtree City residents may drop off unwanted appliances, furniture and other discards the facility doesn’t usually take. Tires, batteries and household garbage are not allowed.
