Peachtree City’s Public Works Department has begun preparing several stretches of multi-use paths for repaving. Pre-grading has begun in the areas near Rubicon Road, the Ga. Hwy. 74 bridge, Cameron Trail, Wheatleigh Curve, Tuxedo Lane/Smokerise Point and Landen Point.

Although paving won’t begin for another month or so when the weather is warmer, early preparation allows the department to coordinate projects, save money and ultimately repave the maximum amount of path space. The pre-graded paths are safe for use unless otherwise marked.
