Following last week’s City Council approval of a list of proposed SPLOST-funded projects, Peachtree City has posted the list online for public review. The document, at www.peachtree-city.org/SPLOST, outlines $37.6 million worth of repairs and upgrades to city roads and facilities, divided into two tiers of priority.

Eighty percent of Peachtree City’s projects pertain to road and multi-use path improvements. The one-cent sales tax question will be on the November ballot for all of Fayette County, with total projected revenue of $116.5 million.

Each municipality will be represented at the July 14 Board of Commissioners meeting, which will also include discussion of a new performing arts center for the county.
