Peachtree City Police are trying to identify a woman wanted in connection with the theft of a purse from a car in the parking lot of the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater between 5:30 and 6 p.m. on Jan. 5.

The window of the 2006 gray Hyundai Santa Fe was broken, and soon after a woman used the victim’s credit card to buy more than $1,000 worth of gift cards at the Kroger on Crosstown Drive. Store video, posted on the Peachtree City Police Facebook page, shows a young woman making the purchase.
