Peachtree City may expand dredging

The City Council of Peachtree City will be dredging up more than old business at 7 p.m. Thursday night at City Hall when it outlines the plan for dredging Lake Peachtree. The city is considering dredging additional portions of the lake outside the areas that Fayette County is responsible for. The project is scheduled to begin in January and be completed by next May.
