Two incumbents and one newly elected member took the oath of office for the City Council of Peachtree City on Jan. 4. Vanessa Fleisch began her second term as mayor, joined by incumbent Terry Ernst, who ran unopposed for Post 4 and was also named mayor pro tem.

Newcomer Kevin Madden will represent Post 3. Fleisch also delivered her State of the City address, noting an aggressive schedule for infrastructure projects funded by the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax and addressing ongoing challenges such as traffic congestion and keeping Peachtree City home ownership competitive.
