Residents of Peachtree City who drive their golf carts to the Starr’s Mill school complex or anywhere else in unincorporated Fayette County must register their carts with the county as well as the city.

The $12 county sticker is available from the finance office in Fayetteville and is good for five years.

The Fayette school system does not monitor county or city registrations, but police in each jurisdiction can. Requirements and applications for county stickers are at www.fayettecountyga.gov/finance/golf_carts.htm.
