Peachtree City is reminding residents that recreational vehicles may be parked in residential areas, but within certain rules.

Campers, motor homes, travel trailers, pick-up coaches, boats, watercraft and their related trailers are all covered under a recently updated ordinance. Such vehicles must be kept behind the front line of the house but do not have to be completely hidden from view. They may be on the front part of the property only for loading, unloading or active maintenance.

Homeowners association rules may vary.

Direct questions to the Code Enforcement office at 770-487-8866 or codeenforcement@peachtree-city.org. Complaints (anonymous or not) can be called in to 770-631-2588 (option 2, option 2).
