Following up on its discussion last week about the Ga. Hwy. 54 West traffic corridor, the city council of Peachtree City unanimously approved $44,000 for engineering plans for road improvements at MacDuff Parkway. The approximately $300,000 project will add more turn lanes from MacDuff onto Hwy. 54 to alleviate backups from the commercial and residential areas already there, and in anticipation the hundreds of new homes being built along MacDuff in the coming year.
