PDK flight school plans open house in August

Aspiring pilots can test their wings Aug. 6 at an open house at a DeKalb- Peachtree Airport flight school.

The American Flyers school will host tours of the flight line, aircraft and classrooms at noon July 10. Residents also can test the flight simulators.

The event is free and designed for residents looking to become pilots.
