PAWS Atlanta, the DeKalb County animal welfare group, will host one of its largest fundraisers this weekend.

“Party for the Paws” features dinner, a silent auction, live music and entertainment and dancing. The event begins at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Ansley Golf Club on Montgomery Ferry Drive in Atlanta.

Tickets are $100 for individuals and $150 per couple, with all money raised going to support the programs and services of PAWS Atlanta, which started in 1966 as the DeKalb Humane Society.
