Georgia Department of Transportation construction partners will pave new lanes that are part of the State Route 347 widening project. Areas that are used as the temporary shift locations will also be paved. This work will create lane closures between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day Sept. 10 through Sept. 15 between McEver Road and Lake Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford.

This work will also affect access roads along S.R. 347 including Holiday Point, Pass Drive, Rowe Drive, Merritt’s Drive, Big Creek Road, Lee Circle, New Bethany Road, Whidby Road, and North Waterworks Road.

These roads will not be closed, but drivers should expect delays.
