The city of Atlanta has begun installation of pavers on Connally Street Southeast between Georgia Avenue Southeast and Crumley Street Southest. This construction will result in temporay road closures on Connally Street 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays through Oct. 30.

Crews will install permeable pavers along Connally Street SE, resulting in a temporary road closure to through traffic. Permeable pavers are designed to relieve localized ponding. Traffic control measures and detours are in place to guide motorists around the construction zone. No work will occur on the weekends.

The detour will re-route traffic to Martin Street Southeast. Motorists can access Connally Street north of Crumley Street via Richmond or Richardson streets.
