The Hiram High School freshman accused of threatening on Facebook to shoot multiple classmates was released from jail Friday afternoon, police said.

Bond was set at $7,900 for Dustin Wade England, arrested Wednesday and charged with making terroristic threats, a felony, Cpl. Ashley Henson with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office said Friday afternoon.

Late Tuesday, a parent called police to report the Facebook threat, and deputies began an investigation, Henson said.

England, 17, was arrested the following day after admitting to investigators he had posted the threat, according to police.

England could face suspension from school or be placed in an alternative school, according to the Paulding County school system's conduct code.
