Paulding County authorities arrested a 29-year-old man Tuesday on charges he defrauded three people who ordered metal buildings from him.

Authorities said Charles Laboone may have received over $25,000 for metal buildings of various sizes he promised to build for the victims, but never did. The victims are from Colorado, Louisiana and Canada, the Sheriff's Office said.

Laboone, who is charged with three counts of theft by conversion, was being held in the Paulding County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.

The Sheriff's Office believes there could be more fraud cases, and urges anyone who might have been victimized by Laboone, ChristBilt or Panel Masters Steel Buildings Inc. to call 770-443-3015.
