A water main break on the Kennesaw State University campus means no water for some students all day as the temperature is estimated to hit 91 degrees.

The school’s emergency management department tweeted that an eight-inch water line broken on Campus Loop Road at a curve in the road.

Repairs are expected to take into the night, the school said.

The Austin Residence Complex and the KSU Campus Loop Road Houses were the first buildings without water, but the school gave an update about 12:15 p.m.

The school tweeted out then that there’s no water for Bowen Building, which houses the Student Athlete Success Services, and the Chastain Pointe Building 200 suites.
