Part of the ceiling collapsed Thursday morning at the Five Points MARTA station, officials said. No injuries were reported, and there was no service disruption.

The incident happened over the escalator near a stairwell, MARTA spokeswoman Alisa Jackson said.

Personnel from building services and MARTA police responded to the situation, Jackson said.
