Part of busy DeKalb Avenue is closing for days

A portion of West Howard Avenue, also known as DeKalb Avenue, is closed through Saturday for railroad maintenance, DeKalb County announced.

The closure is between Paden Circle and Ridgecrest Road NE. It’s in effect from 7 a.m. Tuesday through 7 a.m. Saturday, the county said.

Road closure signs will be posted advising motorists of construction work in the area and traffic restrictions.
