Trying to find a parking spot at Lenox Square Mall this holiday season — and beyond — may have just gotten a little easier.

MyPark, an app that allows shoppers to reserve parking spots from their mobile phones, will debut Thursday at the Buckhead mall, the parking solutions provider announced this week.

Lenox Square is the first Georgia mall to implement the South Florida-based company’s technology, according to a press release.

The mall has so far installed 32 numbered spaces in various locations, but MyPark President and CEO Luis Mayendia said the company looks forward to "expanding this relationship as the results prove the value for consumers and stores at Simon centers."
Spaces can be reserved for $3 for up to two hours, and then $3 for each additional hour. MyPark-trained attendants will be on site until early December to help customers download and navigate the app.

Users can reserve spaces by registering here. After the user chooses a section of the mall, the spot closest to the entrace will be selected by default.

Once the driver arrives at the reserved space and taps the “let me in” button on the app, the reservation unit — which looks like a sign with two thin bars on the side — will automatically fold down to the ground to allow access.

The company is offering a free trial for first-time users; just enter the promo code “MYPARK1” when registering. And if you visit the David Yurman store at Lenox Square while using the app, the retailer will enter a one-time validation code to pay partially or entirely for the parking session, the statement said.

Some of the app’s parking spaces can be found at the following locations:

• Lenox Road garage, level 2 (between Tourneau and Michael Kors)

• Peachtree Deck, level 3 (upper level Neiman Marcus)

• Fashion Cafe (between Bloomingdales and the JW Marriott)

• Lenox Road garage, level 2 (11-19) (near California Pizza Kitchen)
