Motorists traveling through Duluth have no doubt noticed the construction of a large parking deck at the corner of Buford Highway and State Route 120. The 432-space parking facility will serve the mixed-use development rising from the former Proctor Square. Of those 432 parking spots, approximately 97 will be available to the public. Parking is expected to be free like all downtown Duluth parking.

As the $64 million mixed-use development continues toward completion, the visible parking deck will become enclosed and hidden with surrounding retail and restaurant space. The Village in Duluth plan includes 371 housing units, 11 retail units and two restaurants. The project is expected to be complete near the end of 2018.
