Park advisory committee meets Wednesday

The committee that helps DeKalb County decide how to spend its parks bond funds will meet Wednesday .

The Parks Bond Advisory Committee and Initiative for a Green DeKalb Advisory Council meeting will include an update on green space acquisitions and a tour of new trails at Mason Mill Park. The meeting will be held inside the park's recreation center if it rains.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mason Mill Park, 1400 McConnell Dr., near Decatur.
