A parents organization for public schools in central and North DeKalb County is seeking new leadership.

The Emory LaVista Parent Council needs to replace two departing board members. The group is forming a nominating committee to vet candidates for a new co-president and recording secretary.

Members of the group who are interested in serving on the committee have until Aug. 24 to contact Ellen Schwartz: ellenschwartz2@gmail.com.
