As part of Peachtree Corners’ recent opening of the city’s Town Green, officials also unveiled the new Veterans’ Monument, a tribute to men and women who served or are serving in the U.S. military.

In the coming weeks five bronze statues representing each of the armed forces plus an eagle atop the central pillar will be installed, completing the monument. The Veterans Monument will then be officially dedicated at 10 a.m. on June 15.

The monument includes brick pavers with veteran’s names, a number of which have already been placed at the monument. Individuals wishing to honor a veteran may still purchase a paver at www.ptcvets.net. The last day to order pavers to be installed before the June 15 dedication is Friday, May 3.
