A man who allegedly assaulted two women in northwest Atlanta last month has been added to the police department's "most wanted" list. In one case, police say a blind woman's jaw was broken.

The other incident happened after Orlando Clark became angry when his ex-girlfriend “began receiving phone calls,” according to a Jan. 14 police report. The victim told police that Clark “straddled her down on the bed then grabbed her neck with both hands and began choking her.”

The 31-year-old man also allegedly pulled some of her hair out, leaving a bald spot. Police noted seeing dark marks on the victim’s neck and a spot on her head with “little to no hair.”

While investigating that incident, police said they learned Clark had also harmed the blind woman. She had been living with Clark and the other victim for several months in the same room, another police report said; the address provided belongs to an extended stay hotel on Northside Drive.

On Jan. 5, Clark allegedly struck the woman in her face with a suitcase, breaking her jaw. The woman, who is in her early 70s, told police she is legally blind and was sitting in her wheelchair at the time.

The woman’s broken jaw required surgery, a nurse confirmed to police.

Anyone with information on the case may call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. All callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 if their tip leads to an arrest and indictment.
