Sandy Springs police have arrested one of three men they say robbed an AT&T store at gunpoint on July 4.

Laron J. Patterson, 20, was arrested and booked by police Tuesday and transferred to a Fulton County jail. Patterson, of Riverdale, is facing five counts of armed robbery, four counts of false imprisonment and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Surveillance cameras showed Patterson and two others robbing the AT&T at 4600 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. The three men entered the store and ordered customers and workers to get the on the ground.

Police say they stole 68 cell phones, $7,000 in jewelry and some cash. Some of those items were recovered when police found the crashed getaway vehicle in Clayton County.

Sandy Springs police are searching for the other two suspects but did not provide a description of the men. Anyone with information about the incident contact detective Jon Williams at 770-551-3296.
