Olympian to address DeKalb youth

Gold Medalist Gabrielle “Gabby” Douglas will serve as featured speaker at an upcoming breakfast honoring DeKalb County’s youth.

Douglas, who won the gold in gymnastics in the 2012 Olympics, is the keynote at the 2013 Youth Empowerment Breakfast. The program focuses on children and families and development programs in the county.

The event will be held at 9 a.m. Aug. 10 at the Marriott Evergreen in Stone Mountain. Tickets are $25 and available at www.youthempowermentbreakfast.eventbrite.com.
