Officials hosting job fair for veterans

State officials are teaming up to host more than 300 employers in a job fair for military veterans early next month.

The job fair, co-sponsored by the state labor department and Governor’s Office of Workforce Development as a way to honor Veterans Day.

It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta. It is open to all area veterans.
