Oddo re-elected as Fayette County chairman

Charles Oddo was re-elected as chairman of the Fayette County Board of Commissioners Thursday night in a 3-2 vote. Commissioner Steve Brown nominated Randy Ognio for the seat, but Ognio did not receive a majority.

However, Ognio was unanimously named vice chairman.

Before convening the first session of the year, the commissioners dedicated the 2015 official portrait of last year’s board in honor of District 5 representative Pota Coston, who died last summer after only six months in office.
