Nursing scholarships available for Henry students

High school students in Henry County looking to pursue careers in nursing can apply for a $1,000 scholarship from Piedmont Henry Hospital and the William R. & Sara Babb Smith Foundation. The scholarship will be awarded to 10 students who have completed three or more years in healthcare technology classes at one of the county’s public high schools. To apply, a student must be a high school senior who has an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and is in the top 10 percent of healthcare technology students at his/her school. Application deadline is April 22. Scholarship recipients will be notified prior to graduation.
