Northside Hospital-Forsyth has filed a letter of determination with the Georgia Department of Community Health to build a new medical office building on its Cumming campus.

The new three-story, 75,000-square-foot building will connect via glass-enclosed corridor with the existing Women’s Center. It will house a variety of physician specialties and practices and support the Women’s Center.

Pending regulatory approval, the hospital plans to break ground on the new building this fall, with completion scheduled in July 2013.
