Chamber of commerce and county officials from Cobb, Fulton and Gwinnett counties will host a transit summit June 8 to make the business case for transit in the northern suburbs.

Pat McCrory, former mayor of Charlotte and Steve Banta, CEO of Phoenix METRO Light Rail will discuss successful rail projects in their cities. Also discussion of potential transit lines in the three metro counties and the impact on traffic and economic development.

The summit runs from 7 a.m. to noon at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Tickets: $40-$55.
